Lloyd Loom furniture is made by weaving Kraft paper around a steel wire to produce an attractive material that does not tear, split, or warp. This gives Lloyd Loom furniture and accessories an extremely long life. In fact, a large number of Lloyd Loom products made in the 1920s are still being used around the world today.
Our modern Lloyd Loom materials are equally durable: they are made from large rolls of brown Kraft paper twisted around iron wire which is then used to cover beechwood or rattan frames. The weave offers a smooth and attractive finish that will not catch on clothing or upholstery.
