It is also highly adaptable, so at Vincent Sheppard we have been able to use the process not just to make Lloyd Loom chairs, but a wide range of tables, beds, linen baskets, and many other quality pieces.

Lloyd Loom Colours

All of our indoor furniture comes in a large range of colours, from natural shades of white and brown to bright reds and yellows. If you cannot find the exact colour you’re looking for, remember that all colours can be provided to order – the exception is our range of outdoor furniture, which is currently available in three colours, all designed to blend naturally with your garden, patio, or other outdoor area.

Our cushions also come in a variety of colours and materials, all chosen to compliment the Lloyd Loom colours on show. We also offer leather cushions in several colour ranges. Our leather is not tightly dyed, but retains its natural character with some small scars and irregularities here and there. This dying process gives the leather a beautiful ‘natural’ look, great in combination with the natural qualities of the Lloyd Loom rattan-look paper weave.

Beechwood or Rattan Lloyd Loom Furniture?

We make Vincent Sheppard indoor furniture by stretching Lloyd Loom over either a beechwood or rattan frame, depending on the design and the place where it was manufactured. Lloyd Loom furniture built in our Indonesian plant is all made from rattan (cane), by workers expert in creating rattan furniture. If a particular piece is described as having a cane frame, this means a rattan frame has been used to make the furniture. At our Hungarian plant, all frames are made from the finest beechwood by trained specialists. In both cases, the furniture produced is of the highest quality, and has withstood tough tests of its resilience. Whichever type of frame you order, you can rest assured it will last a tremendously long time.
