About Vincent Sheppard

A global company

Vincent Sheppard has been designing and manufacturing indoor and outdoor furniture with exceptional seating comfort since 1992. Our company is worldwide market leader in 'Lloyd Loom' furniture, a technique where Kraft paper is twisted around a metal wire and woven into unique furniture pieces.

Today, Vincent Sheppard furniture is exported to more than 50 countries. Our headquarters are in Belgium, while our main production plant is located in Indonesia, a country known for its rich tradition in weaving.

True craftsmanship

Our company started with the goal of honoring and preserving the tradition and history of the Lloyd Loom weaving technique. To accomplish this goal, we have developed a close collaboration with the local people of Cirebon, Indonesia. Known for its tradition in weaving and bending rattan, Cirebon was the perfect area to build our main production plant. The knowledge and skills of the local craftsmen elevate our products to pieces of art, each and every one of them handcrafted to perfection. Through the years, we have extended our product range with other natural and durable materials.

" Each and every one of our products is handcrafted to perfection by the most skilled craftsmen in Cirebon, Indonesia. "

- Coralie Claeys, CEO

Respect for nature and men

From the beginning, we have made a clear choice to work with natural resources as much as possible for the production of our furniture. The beauty of natural products forms the base of every one of our designs.

At Vincent Sheppard, we are convinced that companies have a responsibility that goes beyond the product itself. We are committed to protecting the environment and make a priority out of the improvement of working conditions in the countries in which we operate. This means that we guarantee fair wage levels in accordance with local legislation.

Moreover, we are keen on organising our company with an ecological mindset. We are very conscious about the consumption of resources. Recycling, the cleaning of wastewater and use of ecological cleansing products are standard procedures. Our headquarters in Belgium are nearly self-contained as we use solar energy to provide electricity for our production process.

In 2013, Vincent Sheppard received the FSC-label by the Forest Stewardship Council: a symbol of environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Refreshingly timeless for indoors and outdoors

Our designs always start from the material. We aim to provide timeless, elegant designs with a surprising and modern touch. As we produce pieces that last a lifetime, the durability and timeless character of our designs are key to us. Vincent Sheppard furniture are pieces that you can pass along from generation to generation.

Our indoor furniture is designed to be extremely comfortable and a delight to the eye. We create chairs, tables, sofas, lighting and accessories in different durable materials with a distinct design. Experimenting with various materials and combinations has allowed us to offer a diverse range of furniture: all tastes are catered for.

The outdoor furniture range of Vincent Sheppard originally consisted of Lloyd Loom furniture that was specifically treated for outdoor use.
Through the years, the demand for highly qualitative outdoor designs in all-weather material convinced us to develop a new range of synthetic furniture that can be left outside all year long. We translated our most characteristic designs into outdoor furniture, and are launching new, unique designs every year.

Your comfort is our priority.

Relax and enjoy...

We are proud to count some of the most beautiful hotels and restaurants in the world amongst our customers. 25 years of expertise have made Vincent Sheppard a trusted partner for the hospitality sector.
